Idy's drawing part 1

It has been a long time since I have come here. ^___^ Things just have a weird way of creeping up on you. You got caught up in it that u just forgot about other things that you were suppose to do. =D I guess I have to make it up, write more in here.

Updates:
I have a terrible flu during Chinese New Year. After a couple of times under the blanket with a hot pot of boil grapefruit skins, orange skins, and other fruit that I don't even know plus "dau xanh" (an Asian remedy), the headaches, the coughing, the sneezing, the sudden low back pain were slowly diminished. I would actually prefer to go to the doctor and drink western medicine than that. It's like in a very hot sauna but very smelly. Not enough air under the blanket. =( I wonder is this what Monkey King feel like when he was trapped in the Thai Thuong Lao Quan's cauldron?? ^__^

A little bit after I got a little better I decided to finish drawing Idy. This is the result of that.. very bad first draft. ^___^



This does NOT look remotely like her. So I decided to redraw... And then the computer decided it's its time to walk toward the light. So I have to buy a new computer. I knew it's getting old and I should back all my stuff on a disc but I never get to it. The last time I save was last summer when I decided to go on my very own journey to the west. I did lots of stuff since I got back, including the drawing of Monkey King and Zhu Ba Jie. Well.. too bad, so sad huh? ^__^ I guess I have to draw Monkey King over again. But using the mouse to draw is not a great way to do it. I need a tablet. That will be my Christmas present for myself, unless Monkey King give it to me on my birthday. ^_____^ Monkey King?? Where is Monkey boy when u need him?? hehehe

Nope... still doesn't look like her right?? ^_____^ When will Mai throw in the towel and admit that she can't draw??? NEVER... I will draw until I got this to look anything like the young Idy. I borrow a book from the library. It's called "How to Draw What You See". It's due on Wednesday and I didn't read it yet. I am still at the beginning on how you should hold your pencil. hehehhe... I renew it once. I don't think I will renew it again. How can you teach people how to draw anyway?? Just a thought.

I thought about taking a drawing class, but the thought of drawing naked people just scare me. I am a little old fashion and naive. Even though I like Tony Leung, I am not watching his "Lust, Caution". I still want to retain some sort of innocent that's left after what TV has done to me. Oh yeah.. and Monkey King too. He's been very naughty, teaching me bad bad stuff. ^__^


Well this is way too late. Sorry Michelle. I forgot Idy's birthday was on the 25th. During the week of the 25th, I was caught up with doing things for the upcoming 2 meetings on the 26th. So I totally forgot until yesterday. My bad. Sorry.
